Wenhart has spent more 40 years playing every sax, from soprano to bari, as well as piccolo, flute, alto flute, clarinet and bass clarinet in jazz combos, rock bands, funk, rhythm and blues, pop, pit orchestras, big band jazz, swing and society orchestras, including 4 years’ cruise ship experience as a sideman and then as conductor/bandleader.

Recently he toured with the Hal Linden Orchestra (2013), Il Divo (2013), the Billy Vaughn Orchestra (2013-14) and performed with the Palms Springs Opera Society Orchestra (2015).
He has taught privately for many years as well as at clinics, schools and adjudications at UC Berkeley, CSU Hayward, Foothill College, and others. He currently resides in Orange County.
